About the portfolio

This selection presents Stevens Cossy’s graphic, web, product and information-design work. Stevens is a Web Application Developer & Designer. This selection includes work for Matrix Jupiter. The company’s website and five commerce, service and software projects appear alongside independent music, learning and Canada.ca work. GCDS-PageTOC adds a navigation feature currently being tested for intended future use on Canada.ca. Responsibilities are described in each case study. Formal study includes two college courses in digital graphic design.

Project images and attribution

Project previews are captures of the published websites supplied for this portfolio, taken in September 2026. GCDS-PageTOC screenshots show the local prototype running with demonstration content and are labelled as work currently in testing. They document the live work rather than reconstructed or generated project designs. Live pages may change.

The Canada.ca design system, Government of Canada marks and institutional content are existing materials. Their appearance here does not imply ownership of the federal identity or government endorsement of this portfolio. Third-party photography, music artwork, trademarks and content remain with their respective owners.

Designing for the publishing context

My work considers image purpose, appropriate alternative text, readable contrast, accurate cropping, image quality and the requirements of the publishing platform. My communications work also involves the Policy on Communications and Federal Identity, including the consistent use of the Government of Canada’s corporate identity. These are design considerations, not a claim of independent accessibility certification.
